JOYCE MEYER’S CONFERENCE is being held from August 19th through August 21st at the Giant Center, in Hershey, PA. A group from our church is going to carpool to the 1st session held on August 20th. This conference is FREE, and we will leave the church parking lot at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20th so we arrive around 8:00 a.m., when the doors open. The conference begins at 10:00 a.m. We will stop somewhere on the way home for lunch and should arrive back at the church in early afternoon. Your only cost is lunch and to pay a part of gas to the person you are riding with. If you are interested in joining us for this trip, please contact Pat Bartosh at 610-588-5753 or Nancy at the church office by Tuesday, August 17th.
UNITED METHODIST WOMEN AUGUST INGATHERING: During the month of August the UMW will be collecting new hand towels or washcloths for Ingathering. Place your donations in the “Ingathering” box located in the church vestibule Thank you for your generous donations.
UNITED METHODIST WOMEN are collecting Campbell’s Soup labels (only the bar code with the little man holding a pencil are needed). Also General Mills box tops for education are needed. The labels are sent to the Red Bird Mission in Beverly, KY. They provide education, health and wellness, and
housing for impoverished people in the isolated, rural, distressed areas of the Appalachian Mountains. Please
place in the box labeled Campbell’s Soup labels in the narthex. Thank you, Carol Ketaner.
