2010 Program

It is an exciting time when 20-40 women gather monthly March through June and September through December.  We focus on the needs of women, children and youth in Bangor and surrounding areas, as well as, the US and the world.   Through our meetings, our prayers, our time and other resources we strive for spiritual growth, social justice/action, education and fellowship.  No need to be a member to join in, however membership information is available by seeing one of the members or there are pamphlets in the narthex.

So Let’s Get Together!!!!

ź         A Day Apart- District retreat focused on food and faith Pocono Lake UMC.  Sign up sheet in narthex.  No charge. Bring your own lunch.  Car pool available.

ź         Bring your favorite covered dish and if you are the mother of a son please ask him if he would be willing to serve with the Pastor and other men of the church in the kitchen,  they have great fun and fellowship.

ź         UMW will briefly overview “First Place 4 Health” a Christian  based nutrition program that supports overall health and weight loss leader Carolyn Shaplin
