The Mission of the Thrift Store of the First United Methodist Church of Bangor is to share God's love with the people of Bangor and the surrounding area by:

• Bearing witness to Jesus Christ and inviting others into his church.
• Selling quality used clothing, furniture and household goods at low prices.
• Connecting those in need to the resources of the church and the community.
• Protecting the environment through reusing and recycling what would otherwise end up in a landfill.
• Providing financial resources for the ministries and missions of the First United Methodist Church of Bangor.
